A memorial service was held Saturday, April 21, 2018, 2:00pm, at the Embassy Suites, 4400 S. Rural Rd., Tempe. More than 70 came and shared their memories and drank a toast to the great good man.

I have been first-chair qualified for Death Penalty cases for two decades for all phases of Capital defense, including trial, appeal and post conviction relief. During that time I have represented twenty three persons whom the state has sought to execute. The state has never obtained a death sentance against a single client I have represented at trial.
